We are thrilled to announce we are starting 2024 with some exciting new goals and a strategic change to the leadership of the business.
Following a successful year in 2023 which saw ramsac grow by 25% and top the charts in ‘UK Best Companies’ awards as well as a move to a state-of-the-art new headquarters in Guildford, We are launching into the New Year with an exciting roadmap to further grow our business and create more employment opportunities for our amazing team.
And to support these plans, we are pleased to announce the following changes to our senior team.
Founder Rob May has now assumed the position of Executive Chairman, with a focus on long term business strategy, the ramsac academy and emerging technology markets.
Dan May, previously the firm’s Commercial Director, takes up the reins as Managing Director and assumes responsibility for the operational leadership of the company. Dan’s focus areas will be leading the Leadership Team, the ramsac People Strategy and leading the organisations growth plans.
Peter Tooke has joined the board as Technical Delivery Director, leading on the firms IT strategy and delivery of technical projects. Following last year’s launch of ‘secure+’ an industry leading 24/7 cyber monitoring and response service, Peter will now also lead a team on the development of additional services around the Microsoft Power Platform and SharePoint.
Sally Cooper, Operations Director now takes a lead on the delivery of technical support services in addition to her existing roles with supplier and financial management.
Commenting on the changes, Rob May said,
2024 is an exciting time for the team at ramsac. Technology is changing at a pace never seen before and we are absolutely focused on helping our clients to make better IT decisions that increase their own organisation’s efficiency, security, and ability to scale. I am so proud of the way our own business has grown over the last 30 years, never losing sight our core values and how we treat people, both customers and staff. Our 5-star ratings across both Google and Glassdoor, and our trophy cabinet full of external accreditations are no accident, we are passionate about growing a sustainable, service driven organisation that can provide fun, friendship and opportunity for our team, as well as helping our client base to grow, increase efficiency and secure their data and assets from the ever-increasing risks that modern organisations all face. This change in Leadership structure is the first step on our next chapter of growth, and I am hugely excited about what’s to come!’
