ramsac named as one of the UK’s best places to work

The UK Best Companies to Work For award is not an award that you enter via a well written piece of marketing creative. Rather, the independent ‘Best Companies’ organisation undertakes a thorough and anonymous survey of your entire workforce, asking questions around working conditions, culture, reward, progression, community impact, and all the key factors that measure staff engagement and happiness.
At ramsac, we take a great pride in our culture and put in a great deal of effort and time to ensure that we are an empowering and uplifting place to work. Everything we do here is about being the best, and kindest we can be – both to our team and our customers. This is why Best Companies is such a special award to us, as it is a reflection on how everyone truly feels and that our culture really is the underlying force behind our success.
During our 2022 review, we were blown away to be awarded the much coveted ‘3 Star – World Class’ award – the highest rating possible, reflecting “world class levels of workplace engagement”, and have since been presented with this 3 star accreditation also in 2023, and 2024 this year. We are overjoyed at this, as it’s independent evidence of our highly engaged, highly motivated and upbeat team. It’s the trophy that we are most proud of!
This year, we were thrilled with our results yet again! Against tough competition including many hundreds of firms from around the UK, ranging from small charities to major national brands, NHS trusts to energy firms, retail organisations to legal practices we proudly placed in 3 major categories.
- In our sector – Business Services, we were named number 1, the best place to work in the UK
- In our region, South East, we are the 3rd best company to work for.
- And in our size category (mid-sized employers) we are the 4th best place to work in the whole of the UK
Rob May was highly commended in a new special award for ‘Best Companies Best Leader’. The organisers selected three stand-out Leaders from across the UK that had scored exceptionally high in the business leader questions and recognised them with this prestigious new award to recognise their remarkable contributions.
After the event Rob said “At ramsac, we believe that true success is built on people and culture, not just results. This award isn’t simply a recognition of what we do – it’s a testament to how we do it and the team who make it possible every day. To be recognised at this level by Best Companies is the greatest endorsement of our commitment to create an environment where people feel valued, motivated, and able to grow. We’re excited to keep building on this culture, bringing in talented, driven individuals who share our values and vision.”
To place so high in so many areas is very exciting and shows the work we do to make ramsac a special place to work is not wasted.
