We are thrilled to have been named a top UK SME culture leader. We strive to always perform at the top of our game, and we make this a commitment as part of our culture on a day to day basis. Being named a culture leader by award winning HR experts Breathe shows that the work we are doing around culture is having an impact, and our employees and customers benefit from our strong culture. By gaining this title, it has shown that our core values are at the forefront of our business and that this is a vital element in our success.

Culture at the forefront.

We have worked hard to not only maintain our values but build on them. Both the leadership team and all our colleagues are our culture heroes and are all delighted to gain this accolade.

The Culture Leaders List’s mission is simple: to celebrate small businesses across the UK who actively put their people first. They focus on looking for UK SMEs who went above and beyond and could demonstrate;

  • How the company values were reflected in the company culture
  • How we have put people first in the last year
  • What measures we introduced to support employees who are working remotely, focusing on how mental health and wellbeing is supported and learning and development
  • How company culture is sustained and the impact of these initiatives on the way the business is run

This last 18 months has been like no other and we have gone above and beyond to support our employees through a very challenging and uncertain time.

The importance of culture.

ramsac MD, Rob May describes why culture is such an important element to the company.

Our commitment to people is not just a tick box exercise, we genuinely believe that making the workplace the happiest we possibly can, providing great career opportunities, being really clear about our culture and our values, providing flexible working practices and taking care of one another, make this far more than just a place to work, it makes it a family.”

Culture has always been an important part of our company. Our culture book is an established write up of what ramsac is. ‘Take me to the cauliflower’ is something that everyone lives and breathes here at ramsac on a daily basis. We are looking forward to maintaining our amazing culture as the years go on.
