Funding your AI training

The good news for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) is that £6.4 million of grant funding has been made available through a pilot scheme with the aim of allowing businesses to accelerate their AI adoption and productivity. The UK Government’s Flexible AI Upskilling Fund pilot offers businesses a grant of up to £10,000 (or 50% of cost, whichever is higher) to upskill or reskill their staff on AI.

Through this pilot, eligible businesses can apply for funding for up to 50% of the cost of AI skills training which supports employees developing their understanding of AI as well as practical skills.  These employees skills then allow the business to be able to develop, deploy and use AI.
