ramsac is highly invested in being more carbon friendly, where possible we look to use sustainable products and constantly review our suppliers to work, where possible, with those who share our values. Working with the support of Carbon Neutral Britain, each year we aim to make improvements to reduce our carbon footprint as well as offsetting our carbon footprint via sustainable power projects such as wind farms, hydroelectric power and solar power.
We are thrilled to have achieved Carbon Neutral status for the third year
Climate change is a growing concern and we all need to do our part to help. The UK Government has pledged to slash emissions by 78% by 2035, aiming to reach carbon zero status by 2050 but there are plenty of things individuals and companies can do to help reduce their carbon emissions.
Carbon emissions are often thought of as coming from large factories. In fact, corporate businesses play a substantial role in carbon emissions directly and indirectly via things like on-site energy usage and deliveries. Think about how many times a courier visits your office in a week? All the carbon emissions released from activities such as these traps the heat of the sun too close to earth which causes problems such as melting ice caps, rising sea levels, and dramatic changes in the weather.
The benefits of sustainable power extend beyond environmental considerations, there are vast economic, social, and technological advantages that support a more sustainable and resilient global energy landscape and ramsac are pleased to be just a small part of this process.
