Managing Director, Dan May named ‘Business Leader of the Year’ at the National SME Business Awards

We are thrilled to announce that our Managing Director, Dan May, has been honoured with the prestigious ‘Business Leader of the Year’ award at the SME National Business Awards held at Wembley Stadium last Friday night. This recognition is a testament to Dan’s exceptional leadership, vision, and unwavering commitment to excellence. 

This award is a true reflection of Dan’s kindness, generosity of spirit and his ability to inspire and motivate everyone at ramsac.  His forward planning and out of the box thinking has already been instrumental in navigating the changes at ramsac over the last year and we are confident that he will continue to steer us down the path of success. 

As Managing Director, Dan leads the ramsac Leadership Team as we deliver an exciting growth programme and develop new services to support the ever-changing needs of our diverse client base. Dan’s primary role is to lead the development and delivery of our annual business plan, our sales and marketing strategy and our people strategy. 

Dan’s leadership style is characterised by his dedication to empowering employees, encouraging open communication, and fostering a supportive and inclusive work environment. His strategic insights and forward-thinking approach have helped to keep our company in it’s prized position as a leader in the industry, and this award is a well-deserved acknowledgment of his hard work and dedication. 

Commenting on the win, Dan said, “This is a huge honour, and I feel very humbled. Being nominated in the first place was a very special thing, but to then win the public vote and come home with the trophy, was really quite a shock. I know it’s often said, but I truly mean it when I say that none of this would be possible without the amazing team of people that I have the privilege to work with every day. ramsac is a community of like-minded professionals and their hard work and dedication really makes my job, so much easier!” 

This award, chosen by public vote, is not just a personal achievement for Dan, but a reflection of the collective efforts of our entire team. It serves as a reminder of what we can accomplish when we work together towards a common goal.
